BLOWING OF TRUMPETS
WHAT THIS DAY IS ABOUT
The Feast of Trumpets was a day when they blew the trumpet(shofar) to prepare the people for the coming day of the atonement. It was also blown to warn people of danger and sometimes to prepare for battle.
HOW WE CELEBRATE THIS DAY
The observance of the Holy Day begins with a Holy Convocation, where the faithful gather to honor the Most High in reverence and unity. This gathering serves as a spiritual reaffirmation of our commitment to His covenant and a celebration of His enduring presence in our lives.
Spiritual preparation is essential as we approach this sacred occasion. We should engage in prayer and reflection, seeking the guidance of the Most High. The atmosphere is one of solemnity and joy, acknowledging the significance of the trumpet's sound in our history—the call to worship, remembrance, and divine intervention.
